Susan Brown Miles
Of Counsel
Susan knew from an early age that she wanted to be a lawyer—watching all the legal dramas when she was growing up and thinking, “I can do that!” And so, it has been. She has helped clients navigate the courts for years, always with an eye for honest evaluation and the best results under the facts of the case. Her litigation defense practice focuses on personal injury matters with an emphasis on medical malpractice.
Ms. Miles began her legal career as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Missouri handling criminal appeals. She then became an Assistant Circuit Attorney, prosecuting crimes within the City of St. Louis. Prior to joining Kamykowski & Taylor, she spent many years at a large defense firm litigating personal injury, subrogation, and other matters in Missouri and Illinois. She also has experience practicing workers’ compensation law on behalf of injured claimants. Susan’s wide-ranging legal experience makes her a unique value to her clients. Her years of practice have allowed her to refine her skills in taking a case from intake to appeal, including motion practice, research, depositions, witness preparation, mediation, bench and jury trials.
In her spare time, Susan enjoys spending time with family and friends, showtunes, and a good book.
