Laurie Geier

Paralegal

Laurie joined the K&T team as a paralegal after returning from service as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Eswatini, where she worked in youth development and increased access to HIV/AIDS mitigation resources, mental and physical health education, and English literacy. Throughout her diverse professional journey as a language teacher, AmeriCorps Fellow, and Peace Corps Volunteer, Laurie has gained valuable experience communicating complex and sensitive topics with clarity, compassion, confidentiality, and cultural awareness.

 

Laurie brings to her role a strong commitment to service, a collaborative spirit, and an ability to manage competing priorities while remaining attentive to detail. Her experience working in diverse communities and adapting tasks to meet the needs of others has strengthened her communication, organization, and creative problem-solving skills.

 

Outside of the office, Laurie enjoys creating healthy and safe spaces for people as a yoga teacher and spending time outdoors. She is also the proud dog mom of a border collie puppy, Jabu.
