Michael has a client-first approach to every matter he handles. Michael prides himself on providing each of his clients the personal and prompt attention they deserve, 100% of the time. Michael has a knack for identifying issues that may affect his clients’ interests and developing innovative ways to address those issues. His critical thinking and attention to detail make him an excellent asset to the K&T team.

Michael represents individuals and business owners, both small and large, in all areas of general commercial and civil litigation matters including breach of contract disputes, covenants not to compete, non-solicitation agreements, trade secret violations, claims for breach of fiduciary duty, unfair competition, and mechanic’s liens. Michael also focuses a significant portion of his practice representing individuals and corporations in personal injury cases, with a concentration in defending claims for medical negligence. Michael has the experience to handle a claim or lawsuit from start to finish, including all aspects of discovery, depositions, motion practice, and witness and expert preparation. He also has trial and arbitration experience in state court and through the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).

Prior to joining Kamykowski & Taylor, Michael worked for a large firm in St. Louis where he represented businesses on a variety of general civil and commercial litigation matters, including a large oil company in state and federal court against claims involving contract disputes and violations of the Petroleum Marketing Practices Act. In addition, Michael was the Prosecuting Attorney for a municipality in St. Louis County for two years.

Prior to entering law school, Michael was a police officer for 11 years in the St. Louis Metropolitan Area.
